The evening of the Hunter’s Moon—the closest full moon of the year—60 of us gathered to read Poe’s poetry and fiction around a bonfire.
Poe’s morbid imagery and haunting cadences were brought to life by the warmth, creativity, humor, sociality, and kindness of the Oxford students!
Many thanks to the Humanities Division for the homemade pumpkin muffins, cider, popcorn, pizza, and s’mores
